I found this healthy Chinese snack in San Francisco Chinatown for under $3! These are quite popular in Chinese snack culture, either made with corn or rice. And they are usually marketed as healthy adult snacks. While the Japanese version “umaibo” leans toward children with cute eye catching wrappers.
The bag contains 16 individually vacuum sealed wrapper to retain optimal freshness.
The texture is like a stiff Cheetos puff with sugary salted filling. My favorite part is the strong corn flavor in every bite.
Ingredients: Brown Rice, Palm Oil, Maltodextrin, Rice, Corn, Granulated Sugar, Milk Powder, Soy Sauce Powder, Konjac Powder, Flavor.
